Eclipse

"It's been apparent for some time know that nearly every form of life relies on light given off by the stars in space. This light allows life to prosper at an accelerating rate. While this phenomenon know as life is truly amazing, misfortunate flaws to their way of living are becoming more obvious. Every day, the star that gives them life will always leave one side in darkness. If it wasn't for the rotation of planets, one side would remain in a frigid darkness forever and the other would eventually overheat. While it's nearly impossible for a planet to stop it's given rotation patterns, there is another event that can leave darkness on their world.

The Phenomenon know as an eclipse.

While these are often short lived events that the inhabitants of the planet will spectate with amazement, one can't help but wonder: What if an eclipse never ended.....?....potentially leaving the whole planet in darkness...

Creatures of light magic would be the first to suffer. Without light to power their magic, they become weak, frail, lifeless...

And the rest would follow.

For years, we never thought we could manage to occur, but thanks to new advances in corruption we might finally have come to a conclusion.
