Today my dad and I went to Best Buy and I got a laptop for school. I decided to go with windows because I feel that would be better for college (even though deep down I will always prefer Macs ;_; if only there weren't so many cool Windows-exclusive things). So far it works really nice so I'm hoping it will work well for me. Plus, it will be nice to have a portable computer.

I know I should be focusing on school but all I can think about are games.
I want more games but I need to play the ones I have more. I finally got Leon in Rune Factory 4, I'm near the end of the 5th dungeon in Etrian Mystery Dungeon, I need to level up to lv 50 in Fantasy Life to use the DLC I paid for, I'm still in Chapter 7 of Bravely Default (but I have beaten a lot of the side quests surprisingly, I still have not beaten Pokemon Alpha Sapphire (idk why), and there's more games I could add to this list. And yet I've made a list of games I want.

games that are out:

  • Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars
  • Lord of Magna: Maiden Heaven

games that aren't out yet:

  • Stella Glow - November 17th 2015
  • The Legend of Legacy - October 13th 2015
  • Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon - December 31st 2015
  • Yo-Kai Watch - November 6th 2015
  • Moco Moco Friends - November 17th 2015
  • Bravely Second - TBA 2016
  • Dragon Quest 11 - Who knows it was just announced
plus Splatoon and Yoshi's Woolly World but the above lists are all RPG-type games (some are more dating-sim like though but I think the fighting part looks fun). Legend of Legacy looks a lot like Bravely Default (I've heard it's hard too) but I'll still get it. In it, you have 7 different protagonists to choose from (one is a frog) and I think you also choose your party.

I'm also quite excited for Yo-Kai Watch and Moco Moco Friends (didn't think the latter would get localized). I'm always up for mon games, and while I am a huge Pokemon fan, I'm excited to try something different in the same genre. Mon games feel so rare. Sure, there's Digimon, Dragon Quest Monsters, Shin Megami Tensei (not sure if all of them let you train demons but I know some do), Monster Rancher, and various others. I feel bad for other Mon games, especially Digimon, since people seem to label anything other than Pokemon as a Pokemon Rip-off. Just think of how big the genre could be if people would give things a chance rather than label it as a rip-off and look away.
I still need to play a Digimon game too. I've played Rumble Arena 2, but I'd love to play one of the handheld ones. Sometimes I think about buying one of the DS ones off of Amazon, so if anyone has any good recommendations for Digimon DS games then please send them to me. :la: I wish the 3DS one would come to the US (it had a Petition at one time that didn't quite reach its goal but sure got a lot of signatures www.change.org/p/bandai-namco-… and Bandai Namco did comment that the support was "interesting")
But yeah I'm excited to befriend some Yokai and some plushy-like creatures. Who cares if those games are for kids? :U I think I can be an adult who likes cute games for kids.

I still have one gift to draw so I should really get started on that
