See You Space Cat

I had a strange dream this morning where my school took a field trip to Mars (with school buses! idk what grade I was supposed to be in). We were actually on a mission to help a space cat find his family. The space cat in question was orange and he could talk. So were walked around the barren landscape of Mars while seemingly finding nothing but rocks. In the dream I had a memory of a previous mission where we had seen another space cat but it hissed at us and fled. So we're walking on Mars and suddenly my brother appears out of no where and asks Space Cat for gum. Space Cat looks sad because it's his last piece and splits it in half for my brother and I. I then offered to buy Space Cat more gum but he refused. He looked so sad though...why didn't I take his side? Apparently Space Cat really likes chewing gum, and my brother recalls him having some kind of moon gum when they first met on the moon (why wasn't that mentioned earlier in the dream?? they met on the moon??). My brother then says "I could of had a thousand roles in Hollywood and this is the only one I'd remember.", a line that makes absolutely no sense. Right after that I woke up.

I really have to wonder where these plots for my dreams come from. Who's writing them? The plot points and characters seem to come up at random. I wish I knew how Space Cat's story ended. I feel like I should make him a character.
